Continuity mistake: There are two scenes during which Harry is shown having visions of the Dept of Mysteries while he is asleep. The first scene occurs after Harry's confrontation with Seamus in the Gryffindor common room. There are shots of Harry lying in bed wearing a short sleeve, crew neck tee shirt, but when he is startled awake by the vision of Voldemort, he sits up wearing a buttoned henley tee. The next day is the first day of Defence Against the Dark Arts class with Umbridge. That last shot of Harry in the henley tee shirt was cut from a later scene. Later in the film, when Harry has the vision of Arthur Weasley's attack, he is wearing the henley tee shirt. (00:34:00 - 01:09:35)Super Grover
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the security guard halts Mr Bean (dressed as a grandma) and the supposed kidnapped child, he is asked for his pass. Mr Bean hands the guard an already opened ID style flip card, but when the guard takes it, he is seen opening it as if it were closed.
Continuity mistake: Once the chipmunks are inside the food cupboards, they begin to devour everything inside. Theodore is seen chewing off a corner of a box of Lucky Charms cereal and eating the cereal that pours from the hole. But a few shots later when the same box of cereal can be seen, the hole that Theodore gnawed from the corner of the box is gone and the corner is fully intact. (00:11:00)Hamster
Revealing mistake: Underdog's first costume is supposed to be a felted down (the more accurate term would be fulled) wool sweater. When wool is felted the stitches lose clear definition and usually achieve a "felted" look. It is clear that the sweater in the movie has just been switched for another smaller sweater as the stitches are still sharply defined after it has been pulled from the dryer. This is especially clear around the U. No attempt to make the smaller sweater look "felted" was made. This refers to the original costume with the solid white U, not the second costume with the yellow outlined U.
Continuity mistake: When Joe gets injured and he insists the back-up quarterback goes in, he takes his wristband with all the plays on it off, so it can be given to the back-up. When the back-up quarterback is shown running on the field, he does not have it on, but when they show the back-up on the field, he does have the plays wristband on.
Continuity mistake: First day in class, when Hoager "beeps" at Jesse, Mrs. Myers writes two words. The word "verb" is over the word "subject" on the board, in the close-up. After she turns around, in the following shots, the word "predicate" appears, disappears, then reappears and "subject" is written over "verb" now. Additionally, during this scene, all the other writing on the blackboard changes between shots as well. (00:06:15)Super Grover
Plot hole: During the climatic battle in the snow, Lyra Belacqua is about to get shot by one of the soldiers, and Iorek Byrnison comes to her rescue and is able to surprise & kill the soldier. The problems with this is where Iorek appears would have been right in the line of sight of the solider, and bearing in mind that Iorek is VERY big, wearing armour so as not to blend in with the white surroundings, and making lots of noise, it would have been impossible for Iorek to stealthily appear from nowhere.
Audio problem: At the scene where Mikey asks the elder penguin if anyone surfs in Shiverpool, when he says,"You know you're standing on thin ice," his beak never moves.
Other mistake: After all the plants have stopped being pollenated when the pollen jocks are getting ready for liftoff you see the branches outside the window have green leaves.
Continuity mistake: When Remy and Emile are cooking the mushroom on the roof, notice that the mushroom is skewered on the antenna. When Remy and Emile are hit by lightning and sent careening off the roof, the mushroom is instantly on a stick in Remy's hand, instead of the antenna. It could've been sent flying by the lightning bolt, but even if it was, there was no stick in the previous shot for it to have ended up on. (00:07:50)
Revealing mistake: When Nick is on the roof of the Jeep, the stunt double is visible - just look at his hair. (03:23:30)
Revealing mistake: In the opening scene, the little girl pulls the cake over to her with only a few fingers which is near impossible. When the camera angle shifts and she lets go of the cake, it still wiggles as if she's pulling on it, showing that it's being controlled from the other side, most likely by an off-camera crew member. Continuity mistake: During the scene where Lewis is first on the roof-top, and Mildred comes up to speak with him, the box he is sitting next to is plain wood on one side, and tallied on the other. When there is a close-up of Lewis' legs and the torn paper, when he's ripping the pages out of his book, the box has stencilled writing that is upside down. (00:06:25 - 00:18:30)
Factual error: Trudie and her family are released from jail because David, being the victim of kidnapping, decided not to press charges. That's not how things work. It's not up to the victim to decide whether or not to press charges. It's up to the prosecutor to decide or not to press charges.
