Revealing mistake: When Rob is in the Cafeteria eating all the coleslaw, he yells "I'm the coleslaw king of the world!" there is a girl in the background who mouths it as he is saying it. (00:50:00)
Revealing mistake: In the swimming pool scene between Annette and Sebastian, a positioning mark can be seen quite clearly on the floor. [The swimming pool used was freezing cold, about 40 degrees, so Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon were freezing (look close and you can see Ryan shivering), and so were the camera crew, that they didn't repeat the shot, so the positioning mark was left in.] (00:28:05)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Joey parks his car behind Kat's you hear him coming up really fast and then you see it stop, but if you look in the window across the street you can see in the reflection that the car was still and then it just moves up a little bit. (00:25:30)
Revealing mistake: During the catamaran sailing scene, the boat jibes and Brosnan leaps across the trampoline and starts grinding on an empty winch, with no line in it. (00:37:40)
Revealing mistake: During the prom scene, especially during the song "(Don't You) Forget About Me", none of the band guys (especially the older man keyboard player) are actually playing their instruments.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where they are all having a farewell dinner at Tony's restaurant. At the end of the meal they are all scattered around the restaurant, the camera is on Bella and Honey and in the background, outside the restaurant, 4 extras walk past, 3 at the front and one behind. The next shot is at the window where Max and William are sat, again the 4 extras walk past in exactly the same order and positions. They are the same people because one of them has a pink top on and you see that twice.
Revealing mistake: Before entering the Petronas Towers on New Years Eves, Jones emerges form a limousine. In this shot, as in the next few shots, there is a lot of flashing lights from photo cameras. However, when we get a shot form the crowd, these flashes of light appear out of nothing. No one is holding a camera and flashes come from places where no people are standing. Clearly, these flashes are added later.
Revealing mistake: In almost every scene that the crab is in, just watch the space above it and you can see strings moving it.
Revealing mistake: When Homer is sitting outside (on a dock?) reading a letter from Dr. Larch you can see through the envelope and the letter because the white paper is thin. You can tell there are writings on the letter but it is equally obvious that the envelope is blank with no address written on it.
Revealing mistake: When the guys go to see Tom at the BBQ, he has his head in a support cage. Every time he moves, and particularly when he laughs, this cage moves around and wobbles. The point of these cages is to keep the head still and in line with the spine, and are bolted into the bone itself. Therefore, not only should it be impossible for it to be moving, it would seriously hurt if it was.David Mercier
Revealing mistake: At one scene at Yankee Stadium when the crowd is panned, someone in the background is wearing a Jeter # 2 jersey. The #2 is reversed, showing the shot was flipped.
