Revealing mistake: In the final scene where Fonda and Holbrook are looking over the carrier at the crowds on the dock you can see that only the first rows of people are dressed in period clothes, the rest of the crowd are dressed as they would have been in 1976 when the film was made.

Continuity mistake: When Norma and Helen are in the salon, and they are talking about Carrie going to the prom with Tommy, Norma is getting a fancy hairdo done for the prom. But in the next gym scene, she has her plain braids and a cap on. (00:48:20)
Hamster
Suggested correction: When you watch the movie leading up to that event, it's obvious that Norma is a tomboy, and is always wearing a ball cap and wearing her hair like that. It's who she is and perhaps decided after her hair was done that it didn't feel right and decided to go back to her look.

Revealing mistake: When Tallulah and the girls are acting in the Fat Sam's Grandslam song look at Tallulah as they sing the 'Ra da da da da da' bit. She looks straight into the camera.

Visible crew/equipment: When the ambassador and the photographer are in the cemetery getting attacked by the dogs there are men standing behind a tree. I'm assuming they're the trainers - they are located when the photographer is trying to hop the fence. Look in the back right hand corner - there are about two or three men standing there. (01:21:15)

Visible crew/equipment: During the final fight, a steady cam operator with a white shirt and black straps around his body is seen during several wide angles. This is not a TV camera, it is a film crewmember. The Director even admits to it in the audio commentary on the DVD.
Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Logan and Jessica arrive at the ice cave, they are wet, so they take off their clothes and wrap themselves in animal skin to get warm. Jessica gets naked and Logan takes off his shirt but not his pants. But when they sit down we can see he is not wearing any pants.

Continuity mistake: When the Ferrari stops in the petrol station and the young lady catches the Italian driver's eye, in the first shot he's slapping his face, then in the next shot he is wearing sun glasses which he didn't have before.

Plot hole: Radl and Steiner discuss the entire scheme to kidnap Churchill on the Alderney docks - in full view and hearing of a number of civilians (who shouldn't be there, pace another posting), including local fishermen. Though the Germans banned all fishing activities in the Channel islands including Alderney in 1941, they were well aware that there was a flow of information from the island to military authorities in the mainland. Why would they be so stupid as to discuss a top secret military mission in public? In reality, they wouldn't even discuss it in front of their own men.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Laura is being attacked in the desert, the camera swings wildly. During this swing, the entire crew becomes visable for a split second. You can see Clint Eastwood (who also starred in the film) sitting in his director's chair, wearing a white t-shirt and watching the filming closely. (01:19:54)

Continuity mistake: When the train take off from Nürnberg, the locomotive is on "backwards". A few seconds later is it rotated 180 degrees.

Continuity mistake: When Iris and Travis are having breakfast together, at the beginning of the scene, she is wearing green sunglasses. She eventually takes them off, but when she puts the sunglasses back on, the sunglasses are now purple with a gold rim. (01:25:00 - 01:29:00)
CARAMENTE22
Revealing mistake: When the toggle on the gun is pulled back that supposedly injures Captain S. Melly's fingers, it doesn't actually make contact with them.

Continuity mistake: When Kong is lying in the hold of the Tanker, Jessica Lange's character is leaning over looking at him when her scarf falls off. When it lands on Kongs chest, it appears to be the size of a (very) large dinner table cloth.

Continuity mistake: A couple of times in the movie, the camera pans to John Wayne, and his hair is parted on the wrong side. (Reverse editing flaw).

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Cannonball is driving the Mustang and Redman is driving the Charger through the incomplete Interstate, they begin bashing each others' cars to bits. Several shots show the badly damaged cars and the results of the multiple hits taken. However, when we are shown the cars just before the bridge jump sequence, neither car appears damaged.

Continuity mistake: In the shot where Boris, Annabelle (as Ellen) and Ben are in the car , and turn left in front of a lorry you see a police car next to the pavement (not the ones that have fallen of the lorry) and it is parked underneath a sign. After you see Boris etc. again in the car, they are parked further back than before.

Revealing mistake: While fighting Clouseau, Cato sticks a wooden pole through the screen of a television. The screen is made of paper. (00:17:30)

Continuity mistake: In the last inning of the championship game, Buttermaker opens a beer in a short brown bottle (perhaps a Pabst Blue Ribbon, Red White and Blue, or Red Stripe) right before Amanda grounds out. When he exits the dugout following the at-bat, he's holding a Coors.

Other mistake: Although the Lieutenant is actually sent to the police station in precinct 9, division 13, the sign over the door states it to be division 14.

Other mistake: The chronology of dates on the teletype printer at the end of the film are not in the correct order. We see "March 13, 1975" followed by "January 3, 1975", which is then followed by two August 1974 dates.
