Stupidity: A prisoner, Jack Williams, rats out Hogan and his team to the Germans, so they fake his death and smuggle him back to London for court-martial. What a stupid thing to do. They should just shoot him and be done with it. First, what if he escaped from captivity on the way through occupied Europe? Second, he has done nothing wrong. Being a grass isn't a crime. Third, Hogan and his men are the war criminals - they often engage in combat activities out of uniform. Williams is going to be acquitted.
Stupidity: West and Gordon are in the coal cart and rock it until it tips over so they can escape. Neither West nor Gordon had their feet tied up, only their wrists, meaning both could have merely stood up in the cart and jumped out of it, rather than rocking it side to side.
Stupidity: On 8/12/04, Hope specifically told everyone that when the coin was thrown into the force field, there would be a bright flash and that they shouldn't look at the forcefield when this was done. But all three times that the coin was thrown at the force field that day and the next, everyone looked right at it the whole time, and then recoiled in pain at the flash that inevitably occurred.
