Continuity mistake: In the first shots of the golf course, you see Goldfinger's Rolls parked to the far left of the main building, with Bond's car in the lot in the background. When the scene changes to the inside of the clubhouse store, the Rolls is now very close to the front of the store. At the end of the golf game the Rolls is back to the left of the main building and as the camera pans back you can see that the store is to the far right of the main building.
Continuity mistake: When Corporal Allen pulls Private Hitch off the ramparts when Hitch is shooting at Zulu's in the hills with his pith helmet on backwards, Hitch gets shot in the leg, and Allen pulls him in. Allen is shot in the chest, he clutches his chest, falls inside ramparts with blood underneath his clutching hand. When you see him after camera cut he is clutching the OTHER side of his chest.
Continuity mistake: The father tears the children's advert for a nanny up into 8 pieces, but when it comes out of the chimney it's in far more bits.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene in the movie where the Beatles enter a limousine, I believe at the beginning of the movie. In this particular scene the Beatles are all dressed in suits and ties, but when the Beatles are filmed in the limo, John Lennon is wearing a turtle neck sweater beneath a blazer.
Continuity mistake: The white carnations in the vase on the piano (Higgin's study) move around from shot to shot during the scene immediately after the Embassy ball.
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Morrissey comes to George and Judy's house on Sunday night after the fishing trip to bring them some fish, he sits down on the couch and removes his glasses. Then, in the next shot, his glasses are back on again. He wouldn't have had time to put his glasses back on. (01:09:45)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie the outside shots of the B 52 show a shadow on the ground. That shadow isn't of a B 52 jet bomber but that of a B 17 WWII prop. It isn't a B 29 either, for the cord of the B 29 wing is thinner than a B 17s; Also, the wings and fuselage are much longer. The most obvious clue is the shape of the B-17 vertical tail- it is unique to the B-17, and much different from that of the B-29.
Continuity mistake: After the Baxter/Rojo dinner, the background changes from nightime to daytime at the cemetery, then back to nightime again when Clint kidnaps Mirasol.
Continuity mistake: When the Germans attack their airfield you see the Indian pilot Singh machine gunned. The next scene shows him alive in the pub.
Continuity mistake: Ann Margaret is seen dancing with high heeled shoes at the beginning of a dance routine and during the routine is seen in flat ballet shoes, then near the end she is seen wearing high heeled shoes again.
Continuity mistake: When Marlon Brando's character demands 20% of the con game proceeds, David Niven points at him with a cigar he holds in his left hand. But when the shot cuts to a different angle, Niven's hands are both instantly in his robe pockets, and the cigar has disappeared. (00:42:30)
Continuity mistake: At Molly's party after returning from Europe, the Duchess is introduced, and everyone bows. The shot shows Molly reaching for her neighbor who's standing straight, to bow down, and she does. Then there is a long shot showing the crowd, and the neighbor is again standing, and then you see Molly reach out for her again as she just had.
Continuity mistake: About 25 minutes into the film, Vincent Price puts two vampire bodies into the back of his station wagon. Viewed from the open rear door, the woman is on the right side face up and the man is on the left side face down, and he drives off to the pit. In the next scene, he parks the car at the pit and when he goes to unload the bodies, the woman is now on the left side face down and the man is one the right side face up. For people who have died and then been killed again, they sure did move around a lot in the back of that car.
Continuity mistake: Watch carefully as Bedford falls through the crystal prism into the underground city. On the surface he has his helmet on but in the very next shot, as he plummets down, he has no helmet. He explains that it must have 'fallen off' but you do not ever see it doing so. As the helmet would have to be twisted to be released, and no such action took place, it cannot have come loose.
