Visible crew/equipment: At the surrender of the fort, as the English are marching out, the French general removers his hat. The English Commander, Monroe, says "The fort is yours, Monsieur". Look over his shoulder. In the distant valley you can see what are either two tourist busses or perhaps mobile catering vans. (01:05:40)
Continuity mistake: In the first scene of their "training" for the big mission, the text "Somewhere near Galveston, TX" shows up as a subtitle on the screen. As it does this, there is a nice, dark aerial shot of mountainous terrain which is supposedly to hide the troops from any outsiders. The problem is, there are no mountains within hundreds of miles of the Island of Galveston. The whole terrain in this area is so flat that you can practically see from one side of the island to the other. (00:21:45)
Revealing mistake: In the scene after the battle of Agincort, where Henry and his retainers are walking meditatively among the heaps of the fallen, if you look carefully, you will see one of the fallen with his head raised watching the procession. He then realizes that he is on camera and puts his head back down. It's near the edge of the screen so may occasionally be cropped.
Factual error: Near the beginning of the film before James McAvoy heads up to the house for the evening meal, he is seen looking up through a skylight when a Lancaster bomber slowly flies overhead. At the time it was was supposed to be 1935. The Lancaster bomber did not fly until the beginning of 1941. And if it was supposed to be an Avro Manchester, then they only had two engines.
Continuity mistake: As the Dirty Dozen ready for the wargames, they are in a truck passing and saluting a line of American light tanks in closeup. Immediately after turning left into a circular driveway and stopping, in a long shot the tanks have quickly turned into a long line of Army trucks. There was no time for the tank convoy to drive off and have a convoy of trucks enter the scene.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, when the SEALs are in the inflatable boats heading towards the coast of Beirut, there is a shot from behind showing all the SEALs wearing black diving suits. But when the shot changes to a close up of their faces, you can see they are wearing camouflage fatigues, not diving suits.
