Other mistake: Nadia appealing for a lawyer to act on behalf of Mrs Yakamoto in her divorce is pointless. An American lawyer would be of no value to her: her divorce (should she decide to go through with it) would be heard in front of a Japanese court, and they are extremely stingy with women who divorce their husbands. Nadia may not know that, but Mr and Mrs Yakamoto are Japanese nationals - she is wearing traditional dress! The American lawyers would know perfectly well that the divorce would be handled by a Japanese court - the US would have no jurisdiction at all.

Other mistake: How could Jane not be aware that Tom had only used one camera for the date rape interview, recording his fake tears later? That's the way things are done on television news shows and as an experienced, hard-bitten television producer she could not possibly be unaware of that. The reporter always records his or her reaction shots (called 'noddies') after the interviewee has left. Shooting with two cameras would involve two crews, two lighting rigs, a vision switcher and so on and so on and a straightforward interview simply would not justify such a complex and expensive set up.

Other mistake: After the great fire scene there is a raccoon that drags her baby to shore and begins cleaning it. A few seconds later the baby has jumped across to the other side of his father and siblings, but the mother does not stop licking. This error has since been fixed in newer releases.

Other mistake: In the scene where the kids are shooting arrows and the coach gets hit by one, they send a girl to call 911. If you look closely and follow her in the background, after she runs a few yards, she slows down and eventually stops and stands there playing with her hair. Talk about help... (00:57:05)

Other mistake: When Dr. Seward first goes to see Renfield, he gets bitten on the right side of his neck, but then grabs the left side as if in pain. (00:26:00)

Other mistake: Clarence tells George that his brother died at the age of 9 because he wasn't there to save him from falling through the ice, but when you see the tomb stone, it shows Harry Bailey was born in 1911 and died in 1919. That would make Harry only 7 or 8 years old.

Other mistake: The envelope with the letter for Amanda is suddenly in a very good condition as it ends up in the peanut bowl... even though it has been in the trash, had chewing gum attached to it, been trodden on, had a beer barrel rolled over it, etc....

Other mistake: When Catherine breaks into Crown's house, her assistants immediately get to work on the security panel. When the first assistant touches the panel, it falls off the wall and he has to quickly push it back into place.

Other mistake: In the scene where Madonna is pouring candle wax on Defoe, once they start having sex (with Madonna on top), you can clearly see Defoe's manhood poking out where it shouldn't. I realise they're not actually having sex, but shouldn't it be taped up out of sight?

Other mistake: When Ann Darrow is awaiting sacrifice to Kong she is hanging from tight thick ropes around her wrists. However, when Kong shows up he just grabs her and tears her from the plinth. Either the ropes should still be around her arms having been torn from their mounts, or her arms should have been ripped off.

Other mistake: When Christian and Ana are discussing his birthday, you can see Christmas decorations in a window they pass, indicating that his birthday is somewhere around that time. However, his birthday is in June.

Other mistake: A.J. gets dirt on his face although he is covered by an astronaut's suit.

Other mistake: During the scene where the Japanese are being rounded up and taken to the internment camp, the camera is panning over the crowds of people walking down the street. Half way through this scene, there is a woman and a little girl, who seems to be carrying a stuffed Elmo, hardly appropriate for the time period.

Other mistake: When Brian takes a picture of his friend Doug on the boat, the picture shows Doug in a different position than that of when the picture was taken. (01:21:30)

Other mistake: When Josh and Cher are driving home from a party, they show a shot of the car. It's a blue sports car that passes a Hertz car rental sign. When Elton is driving Cher home from the party in the Valley, they show the exact same shot of the blue sports car passing the Hertz car rental sign.

Other mistake: The chunk of hair that Ted has in the car is in a ponytail, and much longer than the hair cut off in the door.

Other mistake: When Judith is locked in J.D. and Wayne's basement, she is first wearing a long night gown and she is chained at the ankle to an engine. Then she is given a box of clothes to use and she is next seen wearing shorts - how did she put them on if she was chained at the ankle? (00:45:10)

Other mistake: Every time somebody climbs to the attic in the "lake house", you see a small, dark, enclosed chamber with some abandoned stuff. However, as soon as you see the "lake house" from the outside, it is a single-level construction entirely made of glass, with no inside staircase or ladder, and three smaller glasshouses on the roof. There is not a single wooden panel to enclose the attic, nor any construction in the house that looks like it could be that attic.

Other mistake: In the end credits, the filmmakers misspell the name of the town they wish to thank. They spell it "Coupville", but it's actually spelled "Coupeville."

Other mistake: When in the tub in Arkansas, Wyatt is bare chested. In bed with Josie he's suddenly sprouted a lush garden of chest hair.
Suggested correction: It's not a "dark, enclosed chamber"; it's a glass surround with part of the windows darkened, but others letting light in. The ladder is shown near the end of the movie (when he's putting the box of letters away) to fold up into a small space, and the "attic" is merely a small space, easily the height of the roof plus one of the glass bits you can see from outside the house.
After looking at many photos of the house, there is no space for the attic.
