Audio problem: At the end of the movie when they sing "you are my sunshine" they movie into a L.S. and you can see that the words aren't synched in to their lips. (01:31:30)
Audio problem: When the rowers in the Roman galley were going normal speed, you could tell that the drum was sounding before the drummer hit it.
Audio problem: In the scene where Mick returns from the corroboree and Sue asks if he is telepathic, in the US version of the film, he responds with "You're a woman and a reporter, that makes you the biggest busy body on earth". In the Australian version, instead of "busy body", it is "sticky beak" which means nosy in Australian speak. In the US version, you can see him mouth the words "sticky beak", but it is dubbed with "busy body" for American consumption.
Audio problem: During the supper, right after Fausto and Renalda jumps through the windows, Chris and Diane runs for the exit. Right before they reach the exit, Judge Valkenheiser pushes a switch that makes bars come down from the roof and block the exit. Eldona goes over to them and grabs Diane, and Chris says "Take your hands off her." The voice has a metallic sound. I have tried to look for any logical explaination in the scene as for why the voice is like this, but it has to be an audio problem.
Audio problem: In the scene where Chuck is throwing coconuts at the rock, the sound of the coconut hitting the rock comes after the coconut actually hits it.
Audio problem: The keyboard Kevin gets from the music shop seems to have an interesting trait, in that the high notes are on the left. This must either be bad "audio dubbing" or something to do with the shot perhaps being reversed, although I doubt this. It's most likely a post-production audio error as very very few keyboards or pianos are configured in this way.David Mercier
